Background
Marna was born in Middlesbrough in the North East of England in the 70’s, but grew up on the North Yorkshire National Park Moors, a stones throw away from Whitby.
Studied at the Manchester School of Art gaining a BA (hons) in Fine art specialising in Painting.

An emotive landscape painter working primarily in oil (pigment sticks, wax, pastels and oil bars) on wooden board and canvas board.
Exploring themes of peace, isolation, division, solitude and connection through colour and texture in her plein air and studio practice.
